Finished size: 18”x 22"

 

There is a class fee of $15 for pattern, enlarged patter pieces, and 1/2 yard of Steam-A-Seam 2, 18" wide.

The coneflower can be made in any color, just use the values of the colors on the color chart when changing your flower color. (Values are the lightest color to the darkest).

Renegade Thread Play will be demonstrated in class.

A sewing machine is not needed in class.

 

Supply List

• 1 yd of backing fabric in a dark color (see color chart)

• 2 yards Steam-A-Seam 2, can be in packages or by the yard

• Scissors, rotary cutter, long rulers, and cutting mat

• Straight pins

• Tweezers or stiletto

• Iron and ironing board (unless supplied by venue)

• Sharpie fine tip marker

• Teflon pressing sheet (optional)

• 1/2 yd print fabric for outer border

• Foam cord board 18”x 24” for use as design board (optional)

• Trash bag

 

For Quilting and Finishing Your Flower

• Sulky 30 weight thread in colors that match your flower

• Jeans Denim needles or Top Stitch needles in size 12/80 or14/90

• 1 yd batting 100% cotton, low loft

• 1 yd backing fabric

• 3 yds finish binding
