$18.00 pattern fee paid in class for the pattern.

No sewing machine is needed for class.

​

 Melinda also makes up fabric kits for this class that included the pattern and fabrics in 3 color choices: pink, purple, and orange.

for LIVE classes the Guild will need to place an order(4 weeks) ahead of the class date.

kits are $45.

for ZOOM classes the student can go to my shop and purchase the fabric or kit and have I sent it directly to them.

 Please print out this supply list and color chart in color for the attendees

Supply List

  • 1/2 yd backing fabric in a dark color (see color chart)

  • 2-3 yards Steam-A-Seam 2 (12" or 18" wide) 

  • Scissors, rotary cutter, long rulers, and cutting mat

  • Straight pins

  • Glue stick

  • Tweezers or stiletto

  • Iron and ironing board (unless supplied by venue)

  • Teflon pressing sheet to fit the size of the finished quilt or parchment paper

  • 1/2 yd print fabric for the outer border

  • Trash bag


For quilting and finishing your flower (not required in class):

  • Sulky 40 weight thread in colors that match your flower

  • Jeans Denim needles or Top Stitch needles in size 12/80 or 14/90

  • 1 yd batting 100% cotton, low loft

  • 1 yd backing fabric

  • 3 yds finish binding
